Journal of Chinese Medicine Published “Expert Consensus on Rehabilitation of Chinese Medicine for Covid-19” (First Edition) Drafted by Professor Li Jiansheng

In order to effectively alleviate the symptoms of Covid-19 patients, improve discharge rate and promote the recovery of the body and mind after discharge, experts from the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Specialized Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies and the Branch ofPulmonary Disease of China Medical Association of Minorities, led by Professor Li Jiansheng of our university, reached “Expert Consensus on Rehabilitation of Chinese Medicine for Covid-19” with internationally recognized consensus formation method. Its main contents include skill training (Baduanjin, Simplified Tai Chi, respiratory guidance and six character formula), acupuncture and moxibustion (acupuncture, moxibustion, auricular acupuncture and acupoint application), manipulation/ massage (acupoint massage, meridian massage), scraping, cupping, dietary guidance and emotional therapy. The main points of recommendation and the summary of evidence are also included. Journal of Chinese Medicine published the consensus on the Internet on March 6th (approved on March 2nd), which provided a reference for the rational selection and standardized application of TCM rehabilitation technology in the treatment of coronavirus.
