Recently,apiece of good news came that Dr. Guan Qingzhou from the mobile station of postdoctoral scientific research of traditional Chinese medicine of our university, has won the funding of the 2020 Postdoctoral Innovative Talents Support Program. This is the first time our postdoctoral student has obtained this funding.
The Postdoctoral Innovation Talent Support Program, abbreviated as "Boxin Program", is a top-notch youth talent support program newly established by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the National Postdoctoral Management Committee, and was implemented since 2016. Combining with the national key scientific research bases, the program aims at national major strategy, strategic high-tech and basic science frontier fields, and selects 400 excellent doctor-degrees to engage in postdoctoral research every year, and the country grants each researcher 630,000 RMB.
Under the guidance of cooperating tutor Professor Li Jiansheng, combined with the current research, Dr. Guan Qingzhou applied for the 2020 Boxin Program and successfully obtained the project funding under the title of "Identifying Warning Signs of COPD Based on Transcriptome Qualitative Characteristics and Exploring the Treatment Mechanism of Bufei Yishen Component", which achieved a breakthrough of zero record in the "Boxin Program Funded Project" of our university, and promoted the scientific research strength and level of the research of the postdoctoral mobile station, thus ensuring future high-quality development of traditional Chinese medicine, high-level talent construction and technological innovation, and improving the transformation of scientific research results and social service ability.
