Vice President Xu Jiangyan Issuing Certificate to Professor Sun Sulun
In order to enhance the ability of scientific research and academic level of the staff, and speed up the construction of first-class major, on September 22nd, 2020, School of Rehabilitation Medicine held an appointment ceremony for Visiting Professor Sun Sulun, former director of the Department of Medicial Administration of National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, former director of Key Research Lab of Traditional Chinese Medicine on Encephalopathy of Dongzhimen Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. Member of School Party Committee, Vice-President Xu Jiangyan, Director of Department of Human Resource Chen Xiangxin. and leaders, teachers and graduate students from School of Rehabilitation Medicine attended the ceremony.
Xu Jiangyanissued the appointment letter of visiting professor of Henan University of Chinese Medicine to Sun Sulun. In his speech, Xu Jiangyan said that Professor Sun has participated in topic selection, argumentation and evaluation of a number of major scientific research projects of traditional Chinese medicine, and has given a lot of guidance to the construction of the National Clinical Research Base of Chinese Medicine and its regional centers of our university. The fact that Professor Sun has become a visiting professor in Henan University of Chinese Medicine will have a positive role in promoting the construction planning of disciplines and specialties, the selection of major research directions, and the construction of first-class specialties during the 14th Five Year Plan period. It is hoped that all staff of the School of Rehabilitation Medicine must seize this opportunity and consult Professor Sun to improve teaching and scientific research, upgrade the overall academic level of the School, and accelerate the construction of first-class major.
Profile of Sun Sulun:Male, born in Hubei, Han nationality, doctor’s degree, professor, chief physician, doctoral supervisor, academic leader of Key Specialty of Encephalopathy of National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Served as director of the Department of Medical Administration of National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Director of the key research lab of traditional Chinese medicine on encephalopathy in Dongzhimen Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. Vice Chairman of the encephalopathy committee of the National Internal Medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine Association, head of the encephalopathy emergency coordination group of the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, deputy editor in chief of the Journal of Emergency in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Main research direction includes internal Chinese medicine, neurology, clinical and experimental research on the prevention and treatment of encephalopathy with traditional Chinese medicine. Currently engaged in the research on the prevention and treatment of stroke, vascular dementia, motor neuron disease, etc. Undertook projects "Clinical Research on Series of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Treating Apoplexy", "Clinical Research on Treating Apoplexy with Angong Niuhuang Powder" from Health Commission of China.
