Recently, the finals of the 11th National College Students Entrepreneurship Competition for Creating Youth, co-sponsored by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Chinese Association of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the All-China Federation of Learning and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, came to an end in Zhejiang University. The First Clinical Medical College of our university has won the third prize of the national level for its "Ai Education - Five Colors Flowers" public welfare entrepreneurship project.
Based on the survey of the incidence of AIDS and the high infection areas of AIDS by Xinglin volunteers of the First Clinical Medical College in the past ten years, the project "Ai Education for Love Growth-Five Colors Flowers" aims to provide universal sex education for kindergarten kids, primary school students and their parents, and provide self-created drawing books in order to curb the emergence of AIDS. With solid preliminary research, scientific data analysis, reasonable solutions and good public welfare, the project received wide attention, and finally won the bronze prize in the competition.
"Creating Youth" college entrepreneurship contest is a national competition with guidance, demonstration and authority. It is the highest-level scientific and technological academic and innovative entrepreneurship activities for College students. There were more than 150,000 entries in this competition, including 197 universities in Hong Kong and Macao. There were 369 works rushed to the final. Our school attached great importance to this event. Over the years, with the joint efforts of teachers and students, we have maintained good results and won honors for our school. In the future, the College Youth League Committee would organize and carry out a series of scientific research and innovation competitions to promote learning, enhance students' interest in scientific research, improve students' innovative ability,and enhance the overall training level of scientific research and innovation talents in our school.
