Alumni Forum on the spot
In order to achieve high cohesion of the alumni, to promote the transformation and development of the university, and to help establish a first-class university of traditional Chinese medicine, On October 18th, the Alumni Forum, was held in Library third lecture hall, Representatives present at the event were Mr. Xu jiangyan, Vice president of HUCM, distinguished alumni representatives from home and abroad, including Liu yanze, Haixia, Yang jianyu, Duwei, Limin, Liu hongwei, Wu binjiang, Jia zooming. The forum was hosted by Zhang tingting, deputy director of school office and director of office of alumni and social cooperation.
In his speech, Vice president Xu jangyan, expressed gratitude and extended welcome on behalf of all faculty and students to all the alumni for coming back to our Alma mater to seek mutual development plan of our school. He briefly introduced the remarkable achievements made by the school in various aspects in recent years. In the first place, he shared with the alumni representatives the good news that the "alumni association of HUCM " was officially approved to be established. He said that in the future, the university will further promote the work of the alumni association, pay attention to the cultivation of alumni culture, integrate resources, strengthen contacts, and make joint efforts to create a sound relationship of mutual concern, mutual support and joint development between the university and alumni.
Alumni at the conference scrambled to speak out freely. As a member of HUCM, they responded that they felt very proud to see the rapid development and changes of their Alma mater and its remarkable achievements. They grow more thankful for what they have today and send the most sincere blessings and the best wishes to their Alma Mater.
They agree that they will always hold a heart of gratitude , always keep an eye on the future development of the Alma mater, always care about and support the construction and development of their Alma mater, and make their own contributions to the establishment of an internationally renowned and domestically first-class teaching and research university of traditional Chinese medicine with practical actions.
During the forum, president Xu erping came and delivered a speech to express his gratitude for the strong support offered by alumni in the construction of HUCM. He had academic exchanges and discussions centered around transformation and development of HUCM with the alumni . He calls for the alumni’s further suggestions and support for the school and the lengthen concerted efforts to promote the transformation and development of the school, to aid the rise of Central plains, and to promote the internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine.
