The Donation Ceremony
On the morning of October 16th, 2018, The donation ceremony of "Lingrui Scholarship" was held in the third lecture hall of our university library. Xiong Weizheng, the chairman of Lingrui Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Xu Jiangyan, vice-president of our university, attended the ceremony, others including the heads of Lingrui Pharmaceutical and related university departments and teacher’s representatives were all present. The donation ceremony was presided over by Tian Li, the vice-president of university.
At the ceremony, on behalf of our university, Vice President Xu Jiangyan welcomed the arrival of Chairman Xiong Weizheng and his delegation, Xu highly praised Henan Lingrui Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. for its actively participation in social public welfare undertakings. Chairman Xiong Weizheng always cared for and supported the development of his old school. In the time of the 60th anniversary, Vice Presiden expressed his sincere thanks for generous donation of 1 million Yuan to establish the Lingrui Scholarship. Xiong Weizheng said that he had always been grateful for the education and teaching of his old school as a student. The development of Lingrui Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was closely related to the care and help of the old school. The poverty alleviation in the old areas could not be separated from the continuous support of our university. In the future, Lingrui Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. would continue to work with the university for the development of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and we would jointly focus on the poverty alleviation, and make more contributions to Healthy China, Healthy Henan and People’s Happiness.
Subsequently, Vice-President Xu Jiangyan and Chairman Xiong Weizheng signed the donation agreement.On behalf of the university, Vice-President Xu Jiangyan issued the donation certificate to Chairman Xiong.
