In the morning of March 26th 2018, our university signed a transformation agreement with Shenzhen Hanchu Biotechnology Co., Ltd. on the newly invented medicines for the treatment of AIDS--- "Yi Ai Kang" capsules made from Chinese medicine with the transformation fee of 12 million RMB. Professor Wang Jian of Academy of Chinese Medicine Science, President of out university, Prof. Xu Erping, Prof. Xu Liran, Director of the Department of Science and Technology Li Dongyang, Director of the International Cooperation Department Rao Hong and Board Chairman of the Shenzhen Hanchu Biotechnology Co., Ltd. Liu Zhenqiang and his delegation took part in the signing ceremony. The ceremony was presided by Director Li Dongyang. President Xu Erping and Board Chairman Liu Zhenqiang signed the transformation agreement on behalf of both parties. Before signing the contract, Vice president Xu Jiangyan and Prof. Li Fazhi attended the forum.
During the signing ceremony, President Xu introduced the basic conditions of the university and the progress made in the prevention and treatment of AIDS through Chinese medicine. President Xu said that the university had attached great importance to scientific research work, especially the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. Under the premise of mutual benefits and win-win results within the framework of laws and regulations, we strongly support the transformation of the achievements of all scientific and technological innovation projects including the “Yi Aikang” capsule. At the same time, in order to benefit more people, we hoped that both sides would further strengthen cooperation.
Board Chairman Liu Zhenqiang introduced the basic conditions of the company and stated that he would actively carry out the later research and development of the “Yi Ai Kang” capsule project in strict accordance with the agreement, and plan to invest an additional 23 million yuan to develop new drugs as soon as possible, and put it on the market as soon as possible to benefit people. Professor Xu Liran on behalf of the R&D team introduced the research and development process and achievements of Yi Ai Kang Capsule for more than ten years. From the initial exploration and Professor Li Fazhi’s leadership of the expert team, the development of treatment plans, the acquisition of clinical curative effects, and the formation of fixed preparations, etc., they are filled with the care and support of the leaders from our university and the hard work and sweat of the R&D team members. Prof. Xu said that we would increase the strength to further improve the efforts of Chinese medicine in preventing and treating AIDS and better serve the health needs of the people. Prof. Wang Jian congratulated both sides on the signing of the contract and looked forward to the success of the cooperation so that "Yi Ai Kang" capsule could play a greater role.
The signing of this contract is the result of the hard work of science and technology workers in the university, and it marks a more solid step forward in the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. It is our university's new contribution to the development of traditional Chinese medicine.
