From November 22 to 24, the setting-up conference of the Union of Innovation and Development for National Chinese Medicine Graduates (the union) was held in Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. The first members of the union include all the 24 universities or colleges of Chinese Medicine in China, such as Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Shanghai University of Chinese Medicine, and Henan University of Chinese Medicine, etc., together with the other two relevant institutions, Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences and Capital Medical University, which have graduate education of Chinese Medicine (CM).
The union, composed of universities or colleges and institutions that have graduate education of CM, aims to build a high-level platform of communication for national CM graduates and improve the innovative development of CM graduates, so it received unanimous approval and agreement from all members upon its setting up.
HUCM attached great importance to the opening of the conference and sent representatives actively for attendance. Representatives from HUCM and other universities held warm discussions on matters such as the union's organizational systems, regulation drafts, and daily working rules, and made great contributions to the union by putting up strategic suggestions.
