The First Clinical Medical School and Nursing School are also known as The First Affiliated Hospital. The hospital has a powerful techniqual strength in teaching, treatment and research; and it has formed a strengthened and well-constructed team of 1250 staffs, which includs 6 Experts with Distinct Contributions to the State, 8 Provincial Experts, 7 National Famous TCM Doctors, 8 doctoral tutors, 66 postgraduate tutors, 105 professors and 213 associate profrssiors. The school mainly offers courses in 11 deciplines of TCM, including Internal Medicine，Paediatrics, Surgary , Gynecology , Otorhinolaryngology , Osteopathy , TCM Clinical Diagnosis and docimasia, Nursing, Rehabilitation medicine and Physiotherapy, Emergency Medicine and Integrated Chinese and Western Clinical Medicine(ICWCM), among them Internal Medicine, Paediatrics, Gynecology, Otorhinolaryngology, Osteopathy, Nursing, Rehabilitation medicine and Physiotherapy, and Integrated Chinese and Western Clinical Medicine(ICWCM) are 8 Master Degree Programs. At present, the school has 342 full-time postgraduates and 2 739 undergraduates, and it is granted to educate doctorial postgraduates in association with other TCM uniersities in Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing and Helongjiang. In 2006, the State Ministry of Personnel sanctified to set up workstaion of post-doctoral research here.

It is also one of the leading model TCM hospitals in China, which has won many national honorary titles. The hospital covers an area of 57 000 square meters,and the construction area is 113 000 square meters. It has 42 clinical departments, 29 ward sections, 30 hospital techical sections and 1 200 beds. The First Affiliated Hospital offers 4 specialties like Integrated Chinese and Western Clinical Medicine(ICWCM), ICWCM (Rehabilitation), ICWCM (Otplaryngology) and Nuring (ICWCM).
